Professor Beverly presents recent center research at the UC San Diego / CAIDA Global Measurement Infrastructure to Improve Internet Security (GMI3S) workshop.The workshop brought together researchers to share latest work and directions in cyberinfrastructure systems for measuring cybersecurity, including using national AI resources. Professor Beverly presented his group's work on the WHEREIS project focused on using active network measurements to systematically analyzing where IP addresses are used post-allocation, comparing inferred prefix locations with their registration information, and demonstrating the security and policy implications.
