Cybersecurity Center for Research and Education

The mission of the San Diego State University Cybersecurity Center for Research and Education (CCRE), originally founded through a partnership between the Graduate Program in Homeland Security and the Management Information Systems department, is to foster cybersecurity-focused sponsored research at SDSU. We incorporate strategic community partnerships and engage students in hands-on, career-focused cybersecurity research. Our goal is to cultivate a multi-disciplinary hive of on-campus cybersecurity expertise and provide a cohesive process for efficiently and effectively responding to cybersecurity-related sponsored research requests received at SDSU.

Our diverse list of faculty, staff, and researchers from multiple colleges, departments, and programs demonstrates the leading-edge subject matter expertise and profound industry experience our team brings to each project.
