Our Mission

The mission of the San Diego State University Cyber Program Research Office, originally founded through a partnership between the Graduate Program in Homeland Security and Management Information Systems department, is to foster cyber security focused sponsored research at SDSU, while incorporating strategic community partnerships, student hands-on career-focused cyber security research engagement, to cultivate a multi-disciplinary hive of on-campus cyber security subject matter research and project expertise, and finally to provide a cohesive process for efficiently and effectively responding to cyber security related  sponsored research requests received at SDSU. 

Our diverse list of faculty, staff and other researchers from multiple Colleges, departments and programs, demonstrates the cyber security bleeding-edge subject matter expertise and profound cyber security industry experience our teams brings to each project.
