Two SDSU Cybersecurity Research Efforts will Appear at the Highly Selective Privacy Enhancing Technologies Symposium (PETS) in Washington, DC

Two SDSU cybersecurity research efforts will appear at the highly selective Privacy Enhancing Technologies Symposium (PETS) in Washington, DC. Dr. Joann Chen and her students will present their work on investigating privacy risks in the training of AI models for neural networks, while Dr. Rob Beverlyand his collaborators will present research using modern deep learning-based computer vision algorithms in a multimodal privacy attack against network devices.
The annual Privacy Enhancing Technologies Symposium (PETS) brings together privacy experts from around the world to discuss recent advances and new perspectives on research in privacy technologies. PETS addresses the design and realization of privacy services for the Internet and other digital systems and communication networks.
